THE GREAT ENIGMA

Man was created in the imagination of God,

And God was created in the imagination of Man.

Man was God's second mistake

The Dinosaurs, cumbersome and lumberous were first.

Out of creation emerged the thought of Man;

A conscious awakening that reached out,

This set the time for Eden!

How significant was the first touch?

A tug on the coat tails of the Master;

An attempt to be recognized by the Creator!

That momentary glimpse of insight and inner being.

A tremor, a ripple in the fabric of space,

A brief interruption to cosmic conscience,

An acknowledgment of a greater self.

Who will age the Earth?

What man was present at the inception?

Immaculate, the concept of a higher spirituality.

How many tribes segregated individuality;

Wizards, warlocks, high priests, shamans;

Gifted individuals who could interface power?

Who did God recognize?

Many cultures adopted Gods.

Many who would lead dictated their power.

Nietzsche may say “God is dead!”

Yet if there be an acknowledgment of death,

There be a recognition of that life.

God has lived longer than Man’s idea of Him.

His presence evident by man’s absence!

We await the coming of a sign;

A significant event to which we relate.

We all aspire to be understood,

We expect to be shown all  that exists.

We forget our sense and purpose;

Why should God not forget us?

We reject the simplest and easiest truth.

Will Humanity take the quantum leap?

Will evolution allow maturity of mind?

When will we focus on the value of spirit.

We are blind even in the midst of God.

Listen now! Be bold, do not be afraid;

There is an opportunity to be attentive,

We may be acceptable by being!
