AN INTERVIEW WITH CHRIST.

Narrator:

     Would Christ say:

"The world is a better place because of my life?"

     or

"The world is a better place because of my death?"

     "Which is true?"

Christ:

"If I did not die, My life would mean for nothing!"

"If I did not live, then My death would mean nothing!"

N:

     "Which is it?"

C:

"Both are intertwined, life does not stop because of death, and death does not stop because of life!

Because of My life there is birth in new life."

N:

     How long is a day?

C:

     A day is forever.

N:

It is said, 'God made the heaven and the earth in six days?'

C:

God is time immemorial; that is He set the division of day from night for the benefit of His Creation.

God knows no night, for He is Eternal Light.

A day is a span of time Man uses to measure his existence.

That day is not God's day!

What is night to a butterfly?...Is it a dark sleep that was entered into from the pupae to the chrysalis?

     Is day the awakening?

Night is as the sleep of death, the containment within darkness; but light is the awakening, rebirth, as is day!

N:

Did God create the earth in six Man days?

C:

     God sets His own marker!

Out of a void He created; to darkness He brought His Light, perpetual, forever!

Where there were no stars, no planets, He brought order.

To Man He gave Life and rhythm and regularity!

Can you comprehend a broken string that stretches forever, whose ends are both the beginning and the end?

N:

     Alpha and Omega!

The string would not be broken, encompasses everything but does not leave its point of rest!

How would you lift a broken string?

C:

     In God's hand it rests.

N:

Does Man have free-will, or is he a puppet dragged on another string?

C:

When a covenant is broken it is out of choice.

If two parties do not have free-will why would they each contract to meet specific obligations?

N:

     Why come to teach Man?

C:

A child is a Joy, to behold; the young cub requires nurture, experience and direction.

N:

Has Man learned those things You choose to impart?

C:

Each lesson to be learned is hard. It is a stimulus to gain growth.

If you ask one question, the answer does not stop inquiry; it opens the door to more questions until the final answer is found.

Each individual must grow in the search to attain the ultimate question's resolution.

N:

Your life was short, but dramatic?

C:

An event is the culmination of many activities. there is a foundation already in place upon which many building blocks are laid in advance of the cap stones!

N:

     Your presence was already published?

C:

There were many notices given concerning my eventual Being.

God gave many opportunities for Life to those who were given the message.

Their path pre-destined by their own wilfulness laid the way for My arrival.

N:

Did God regret Your having to come to Us?

C:

There was a need which was evident from the beginning that a means of redemption would be necessary to ensure the continuation and evolvement of His Creation.

N:

     Your presence was pre-planned?

C:

When you place a young child on the back of a horse, or perhaps a bicycle for the first time on their own, you expect that until balance is obtained they may fall.

You prepare to comfort with words of love, a hug, some liniment.

N:

You were an ordinary Man, from an ordinary background; no riches, no wealth. Why was it?

C:

Experience is one of humility. the simple things require understanding.

David was a shepherd boy who knew many simple truths; those he learned tending his father's flocks.

The most sophisticated must know the simple.

N:

The carpenter uses skill in his creation. Was Joseph gifted?

C:

Talent is a gift. The carpenter must be at one with his creation, he sees the finished product that will come from a clutter of inanimate pieces; this is special!

N:

You had to leave Bethlehem and flee to Egypt. Was it a good experience?

C:

Growth is an advance of the past and present into the future.

Each action offers something on which to grow.

If we flee from one thing, we flee towards another, we do not always know what.

N:

The temple was a sacred place in which You felt comfortable, how long would You stay there?

C:

My time is MY own. I enjoyed reading the scriptures.

They confirmed much of the reason for My presence.

N:

     Love! What is it?

C:

There is a place where all things belong.

Individually that place is the focus of every spirit.

     It knows no boundary.

     That is Love.

N:

Your teachings focus on Love. You said "There is no greater thing that a person may do than lay down their life for another."

     How is that greatness possible?

C:

To give of one's essence is as the cloud which catches the dew and rains into the rivers and lakes and seas.

There is a sharing which continues having no end.

N:

     You selected twelve Apostles?

C:

Twelve Disciples; vessels that would be filled, who would overflow and carry their gift to many.

N:

You came to Israel, to Judah, then You reached out to the Gentile?

C:

     A covenant required ratification, compliance.

     God has honoured His commitment.

Where the banquet is not attended by one's friends then why should the feast spoil?

There are many worthy of friendship who give openly upon invitation.

N:

When You called Simon Peter, John and James, they came to You?

C:

A seed awaits the Life giving spring, it may lie dormant until that time; but when it is called forth it responds in bursting upward.

N:

     Why a tax collector?

C:

A Man's heart, the truth of His Being is visible to those who would see.

Matthew represents himself, not the profession within which he laboured.

N:

There were many reports of miracles, were they intentional?

C:

A magician will show you what is always there, God displays what may be!

The discerning eye and heart which experiences that lesson may always find that 'miracle.'

N:

Three years of recorded activity is the calculated apportionment of Your ministry, is that all?

C:

An event is only important after it occurs.

You may share bread with a simple man today who will be a da Vinci or Michelangelo tomorrow.

     Would You remember your passing?

N:

The Bible is a great book. Is it the only tutor?

C:

A man who is deaf must first be able to hear, for the blind to see, the dumb to speak, the disabled to feel.

In each of these ways a lesson is taught and learned.

Direction is provided to read those things which give leadership to the response of the spirit within.

N:

The Roman Empire maintained great power and wealth. Why choose that time?

C:

Wealth is a gift; of its own it can do neither good nor bad.

Many pillars are built by the mason's strong hand, they succumb to the ravages of time; ruins are abundant.

When the field is sown, there is a time set for the harvest.

N:

Judas Iscariot is infamous, he is remembered, why?

C:

For Abel there was Cain, for Samson there was Delilah.

There is a force that will always be in opposition to the Way of My Father.

The oppressor carves his own stone.

N:

God is Father, yet some feel He is Mother. Does He have a sex?

C:

When you were conceived you required two parts to merge; your outcome was determined.

From whence were those parts formed?

Would a tree, a bird, an insect, an amoeba or bacteria require any less?

God is all of this and none of it!

N:

I am the Way, the Truth and the Life.

     Three elements of what importance?

C:

To find the purpose of Life you must know the direction in which to travel; not to be misled, and you must see where to plant each footstep.

N:

     Is morality an old issue?

C:

For the spirit to excel there must be a sense of purpose and direction.

Destruction is the outcome where rules in which to conduct growth are not applied.

Many structures apply rules which are unfair, untruthful, self-serving; they are to the detriment of the spirit.

The temptation exists and has its proponents.

N:

Moses was graced with the knowledge to understand and apply God's law, yet he was rebellious in some ways. Why was that so?

C:

The Master must trust the Servant.

The measure of the individual is taken and freedom is given to make decisions.

How will the pupil learn if he cannot make mistakes?

N:

There were many great prophets in Your pre-era, very few since. Why?

C:

My ministry was a direct sharing with the people.

There was provision for the direct petition of individuals to God.

Sacrifice, or the scope of it, was to change, reducing the need to correct or direct the people.

The Truth has been laid before all.

N:

You were one 'Man.' How is it You were able to influence the many who have followed You?

C:

The spirit of humanity languishes in a dark place.

There is an eagerness to attain greater things.

There is beauty, tranquillity, purpose, satisfaction.

There is the knowledge that there is a redeeming Love awaiting.

All of the children of God may obtain true accomplishments when directions are followed.

Eager hearts will be willing vessels.
