LOVE AND FORGIVENESS

Lord we thank you for your love;

You shower on us from above.

In time of trouble You are near;

You strengthen us from our fear.

Lord we thank You for your care;

You help us carry what we bear.

You take away our burdens all;

You lift us up if we fall.

Lord we thank You in our prayer;

You keep us knowing You are there.

As we speak we know You listen;

You show us what is missing.

Lord we thank You for Your life;

You gave to redeem our strife.

Your blessings keep us day by day;

Your love guides us to give praise.

Lord we thank You for the world;

It turns its back on truth and love.

Your patience waits in openness;

Your welcome, our forgiveness.
