LIFE

Life is a mountain;

What an awesome sight.

Light filters downward;

Warmly from the height.

Crags and crevices are opened;

Their pitfalls and obstructions;

Lessened by the widening;

Of the pathway bright.

Onward and upward;

Our climb should be.

Determined and progressive;

Step by step for me.

Gorse and moss adorn the way;

Flint and cinders scattered lay.

Steady each foothold gained;

Resistance and obstacle restrained.
