JOY

How simple the joy of a child,

A sweetened smile,

A tender chuckle.

Harmony that lifts and soars,

To please the most stubborn heart.

What depth?

Deep pools of blue;

How fresh?

Wind swept hay.

So warm,

Oh golden glow.

Bright rosebuds so sweet,

A whisper so subtle.
